Majesty I have seen
encrusted in precious gems
Sometimes in fantasy
and beauty in pageantry
The weight of a crown
worth remembering
Woven in thorns
and worn with humility

In the sweet hour of dawn
 Tenderly reflect upon
 Ten great hearts
 That make you strong
 I tend to start my list
 With Jesus at number one

Altering Rose

I offered a rose, an ivory rose
At the altar I visualized
I offered a rose, an ivory rose
To the holiest of all heroes
As for the identity
Of this Deity
I’m sure you can guess
For He happens to be
The only one
In history who rose
I offered a rose, an ivory rose
To my life-altering source
As I looked up
To the precious cornerstone
My ivory rose was gone
And as for that worry of mine
In the dome of my mind
I couldn’t find a sign

Champagne

At a hypothetical winery
At the Master’s summons
He gave a little talk
And I wrote down the questions…

If I poured for you
Your favorite drink
Would you obsess over the glass
Or delight in the experience?
If I took away that glass
And poured for you
The same beverage
In a different tumbler
Would you curse
My stemware selection
Or thank Me for the refill?

Sacred Water

Seeds of hope
In my heart
With healing touch
You did plant

Watching over
Each tender blossom
With sacred water
From the wells

Tending to
The garden now
The taste of love
Is in the fruit

Thank You Jesus
For giving life
To these gifts
I share with joy
